Description

burntop is an open-source full-stack template built for apps developed by AI coding agents. It features FastAPI, React 19 (TanStack Start), Tailwind 4, shadcn/ui, and PostgreSQL 18, including session-based auth, Google OAuth, reference CRUD functionality, and out-of-the-box Docker Compose support. The difference lies in the guardrails. The template only relies on end-to-end tests: 161 backend tests against a real Postgres database and 42 Playwright tests against the full stack. 39 mocking libraries are banned, so importing a mock will fail the build. A route that no test calls, a page that no spec opens, or a model without a migration will also break the build. A feature is only finished when "make ci" passes, preventing the agent from faking a green checkmark. Works with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or any agent that reads AGENTS.md.
